Question

Can WorldCat.org help me locate materials (books, videos, music) in nearby libraries?

Answer

You can limit your search results in WorldCat.org to libraries near you by following these directions:

  1. Once you have performed a search and retrieve results, click on the “Libraries” tab located beneath the main information section on the result page.
  2. Enter your zip code, state, or country in the box labeled “Enter Location Information.”
  3. Click on the “Go” button.”

Your results will then be limited to libraries that own the item and are located near/within the zip code, state, or country you entered in the location box.
