Frequently Asked Questions

Question

How do I add a Credo search box to my library site?

Alternate Question(s):

How do I get the code for a Credo widget?

Answer

For institutions that purchase Credo Reference, here is the HTML code to add a Credo search box to your library site.

You will need your GALILEO proxy prefix for this to work off site. To find the proxy prefix for your institution:

  • Find your GALILEO institution code on the bottom of the “Contact Us” form: Institution: #### (name-consortia)
  • Plug the 4-character code into the following URL where you see ####
