How do I download the GALILEO toolbar?

Answer

To download the GALILEO Toolbar in Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the Get Your GALILEO Toolbar link in the Getting Started section of your GALILEO homepage
  2. Click “Download your GALILEO Toolbar”
  3. Click the “Click here to install LibX…for Internet Explorer”
  4. Click Run when you see the File Download - Security Warning window
  5. Click Run again when you see the Internet Explorer - Security Warning window
  6. In the LibX for IE Setup wizard, click Next >
  7. Click “I Agree” after reading the license agreement
  8. Click Install
  9. When the installation is complete, check the “Start Internet Explorer now” box and uncheck the “View Installation Notes” box
  10. Click Finish

A new Internet Explorer window will open with the toolbar installed.

To download the GALILEO Toolbar in Firefox:

  1. Click the Get Your GALILEO Toolbar link in the Getting Started section of your GALILEO homepage
  2. Click “Download your GALILEO Toolbar”
  3. Click the “Click here to install LibX…for Firefox”
  4. Click “Allow” if your browser tries to stop it from installing
  5. Click the Install Now button when it appears in the Software Installation window
  6. Restart Firefox when the Add-ons window prompts you to do so

The toolbar will appear when the new Firefox window opens.
