How do I find an article?
Step 1. Choose a database.
There are multiple ways in GALILEO to choose a database. You will find databases listed by subject under the Browse by Subject tab or by format under the Browse by Type tab. The Databases A-Z tab offers a comprehensive list of all databases offered or you can browse the list of databases alphabetically.

Step 2. Search for your topic.
In the search box of the database you have selected, type in a keyword that best describes your topic. If you already have the citation of an article you want to find, enter the title or author of that article.
(Tip: If your search retrieves too many articles, use the search help tools available in the database to help you refine your search terms.)
Step 3. Get the article.
- Full-text article - Print it, save, or e-mail the article. (Not all options are available in all databases.)
- Citation and abstract - You may be able to find the print version of the journal in your library. Check your library catalog or consult a reference librarian for help.
