While there is no official ebrary mobile application, you can search, check out, view, and return ebrary eBooks all from within the Bluefire Reader App. This FAQ serves as a guide on how to check out eBooks using the Bluefire Reader App.

Before setting up the Bluefire App, you will need to do the following:

1. Download the Bluefire Reader App

After obtaining the account information and installing the Bluefire Reader App, follow these steps to search and download an eBook:

  1. Using your mobile device’s web browser, access ebrary through GALILEO (Express Link: http://www.galileo.usg.edu/express?link=ebpr)
  2. You will now be prompted to enter your GALILEO password.

  4. After entering your GALILEO password, you will be taken to ebrary. From here, click on the “Sign In” on the top-right of the page to create an ebrary account if you do not have one or log-in using your ebrary account information.

  6. After logging into ebrary, you will be able to search for a book. Once you’ve found the book you’d like to download, click on the eBook’s title. This will take you to the eBook detail page.

  8. From the eBook detail page, select “Full Download” from the left-hand side.

  10. Select what type of device you’re using and if the device you’re using is private or public.
  11. If you haven’t downloaded installed the Bluefire Reader select “Get Bluefire Reader.” If you have, select “Done with this step.”
  12. To download the eBook to your device, select “Download Your Book.”
  13. Wait while your eBook is being downloaded to your device.

After the eBook downloads, you can begin reading the eBook by opening the Bluefire Reader App on your device. If you’ve never opened the app before, you will be prompted to enter the Adobe ID you created earlier. You will see the cover of your eBook in addition to how many days are left in your check out period.
