Why can’t I log in to the GALILEO proxy?

Links to resources via the GALILEO proxy are institution specific. You must login to the proxy with the password of the institution that is specified on the proxy login screen.
Check the information below for directions on locating your current GALILEO password. If you are not affiliated with the institution specified on the proxy login screen, you may have access to the resource through GALILEO. You will need to log back in to GALILEO and retry your search.

PUBLIC COLLEGE or UNIVERSITY USER
Select the link to your institution below to log in to your GIL account. You will then be shown your current GALILEO password.
NOTE: To log in to your GIL Account, you will need a GIL PIN. To get your GIL PIN, follow these directions:- Select your institution from the list below. This will take you to the “My Account” section of your GIL Catalog.
- Enter your library barcode number or institution ID number located on your institutional ID card.
- Enter your last name.
- Click on the “Get My PIN” link. A temporary PIN will be immediately emailed to you.
- Once you have received your temporary PIN, go back to your GIL account and log in.
Change your PIN by clicking on the Change PIN button directly under your name and address once logged into your GIL account.
