Question

Will GALILEO Find It replace my library’s ejournal locater?

Alternate Question(s):

How will GALILEO Find It users know that a local ejournal locater is available? How can GALILEO users access my library’s ejournal locater / locator / A-Z list ?

Answer

It may be that GALILEO Find It could replace your library’s ejournal locater/journals a-z list.

The default Journals A-Z list within GALILEO includes full-text journals from GALILEO-managed databases like EBSCO Academic Search Complete and ProQuest Research Library. If your institution is participating in localization of Find It, full-text journals from locally-managed databases will begin appearing in your GALILEO Journals A-Z list. Once you have localized SFX, it is possible to add the GALILEO Journals A-Z list to your library webpage either by linking, or by embedding a the Journals A-Z search box.

For more information on localizing Find It, or about adding the Journals A-Z link or search box to your library webpage, submit a comment to GALILEO Support via the Contact Us form.
