Access to GALILEO Resources Via Campus Network Security
Librarians may need to work with their institutions’ IT staff to ensure that all GALILEO databases are accessible. Browser configurations, security software, filtering software, proxy servers, and other aspects of an institution’s computer network may affect GALILEO access, and the following items will help libraries and their IT staff ensure that all GALILEO resources are available to their users.

Access to GALILEO via Course Management Systems, Campus Portals, and Library Patron Accounts
Seamless access to GALILEO for users that have already authenticated into campus portals (e.g., Luminis, UPortal, Novell), course management systems (e.g., WebCT and Blackboard), and library patron accounts is available, subject to verification that the referring site meets security requirements.
